3K a year Nursing Supervisor/Registered Nurse (RN) -- Part-Time/Weekends Roane General Hospital in Spencer, WV a 60 bed Critical Access Hospital with 35 SNF/ICF beds, 25 acute care beds, Level IV Trauma Emergency Department, Always Ready for Kids (ARK) certified, three Rural Health Clinics and a Walk-in clinic is currently seeking applicants for a Part-Time Nursing Supervisor RN Weekends/11a-11p shift Qualifications The Nursing Supervisor position performs first line supervisory and advanced level work involved in the provision of nursing services related to the care and management of the physically ill at RGH.
Expected to exercise initiative and independent judgment in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
Directly exercises immediate to general supervision of assigned professional, paraprofessional, and clerical support staff.
Additionally, this position will include knowledge of Utilization Review rules and regulations as they assist the providers and staff in assigning appropriate admission status.
Any acceptable combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from an accredited school of nursing and 2 years of nursing experience or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the desired knowledge, skills and abilities.
Must be current in ACLS, BLS, and PALS Must complete TNCC within 1 year.
Must maintain and possess a current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the West Virginia Board of Nursing.
